Acer Swift 5 Design and Build Quality: Stunning Color and Awesome Feel
The laptop is absolutely stunning. It’s called Mist Green and it has such beautiful shades of green in its color that you can’t really tell from pictures alone! The keys on this Acer Swift 5 model are accented with rose gold, which just makes them look even more elegant than they already did before
The Acer Swift 5 is designed with an anti-microbial finish that makes it more resistant to bacteria, so you can breathe easy knowing your laptop won’t give up on its owner. However we don’t have any data analyzing the durability of this coating in testing environments
Love it or hate it, the keyboard is a one-of-a kind. The keys are soft and quiet which I find myself using more than ever before because of their weightiness – you really need to push down harder on these for an answer! But if loud clicky sounds make your heart race then this probably isn’t right up yours either;)
The left side of this laptop has an HDMI port, a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 socket and power input. On the right you will find a traditional headphone jack as well as another 3 ports: one labeled “USB Type A” which can be used for connecting peripherals such as keyboards or mice
The design of this laptop is not my favorite. The gold bar on the back gives me a bit trouble when lifting it up off surfaces, and there are two rubber pieces that can be difficult to drag around with you as well because they make noise if moved too quickly across any surface!

Acer Swift 5 Display and Performance: Performs Great, But Man, The Fans Are Annoying
The display looks great, with an FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution that makes watching content on YouTube or Netflix really pop. The colors are bright and clear; you can even use this laptop for gaming
When I played Borderlands 2 for a little bit, it looked and felt great. There were no signs of lag or slow-down in sight which is really unusual considering the age of this laptop!
When I saw the Swift 5’s 16GB of LPDDR4, it caught my eye because most laptops only have standard DDR4 . So to learn more about what makes them different one from another- However, LPDDR4 compromise speed in exchange for power
The Acer Series laptop paired with 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 512 GB SSD. I didn’t notice any speed discrepancies when browsing the web or streaming videos/music, but there were some fan noises while playing less demanding games likeBorderlands 2 on PC – this doesn’t affect gameplay though!
There are name things I have open at once and the Swift 5 handles them all beautifully. In my opinion, it’s best for anyone who is looking to make their computer run faster or needs more memory than what they’re currently using.
The fan of my laptop constantly kicks on, even when it’s not that hot. Every time I open a few new tabs or start up task manager to see what’s using energy in there – nothing seems excessive! It could just be because this thing has been running non-stop.
Acer Swift 5 Audio, Cameras, and Battery Life: Pretty Standard
The audio quality of the Swift 5 is not great, but it’s significantly better than what I expected. Laptops with Dolby Audio still don’t sound fantastic or immersive though – especially since your attention will probably be focused more on other things like gameplay because this laptop has DTS stereo speakers that are at its front both sides so you can hear everything clearly while playing games online without any issue whatsoever!
With the rise in online work, laptop webcams are becoming standard. and all I can say about this Swift 5 is that it has one. At 720p resolution you’ll find its grainy but picks up light around pretty well on your face while capturing. What I wish this computer had were privacy shutter so people don’t feel spotlighted.
Because of the LPDDR4, this laptop saves more power and extends battery life. I noticed that by simply watching videos or browsing internet you can expect about 15-17 hours on a single charge! Plus it charges pretty fast too; 30 minutes gives me four solid hours when needed for my next meeting.
Conclusion:
Acer’s Swift 5 is not a bad laptop by any stretch, but it’s not my favorite, especially when compared to the one I use everyday: the Lenovo Flex 5. My Lenovo laptop is very similar spec-wise, but a few hundred bucks cheaper and has that awesome 2-in-1 tablet functionality. But we’re not here to talk about my Lenovo.
When I think of laptops, Acer’s Swift 5 is not the first laptop that comes to mind. In fact it’s so far down on my list because there are other laptops out now with better specifications and price points for when you want something more portable than a desktop replacement. I prefer my Lenovo Flex5. It has that awesome 2-in-1 tablet functionality which allows you to switch between different devices with ease and save on space at home or in office since it can function as both!
When I first picked up the Swift 5, it felt like a dream. The green mist aluminum-magnesium chassis and keys with gold font are so beautiful! Even during speed tests this machine handled everything smoothly—internally as well externally since fans were going wild. The sound of the fans was very annoying when I tested it, but if you’re playing music or YouTube videos then they won’t be an issue.
The Acer Swift 5 is an excellent laptop with a premium feel and long lasting battery life. It runs on the latest Windows 11 operating system, 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor for fast performance in day to day activities or when doing heavy work such as video editing; it only weighs 2 pounds so you can take this anywhere!
