The new Huawei P50 Pro has been available for preorder and will be released on February 7 in the Asia Pacific, Middle East Africa Europe Latin America regions. Basically everywhere but North America though of course because it’s just too obvious not to mention!

Huawei P50 Pro design and display

The P50 Pro’s all-new Dual Matrix design with two signature rings on the back houses many cameras and sensors, making it instantly recognizable. The choice of colors is also adding to its design as they are both Cocoa Gold or Golden Black is also adding to the unorthodox looks of the glass phone. For this year’s model which will be released soon!

The Huawei P50 Pro’s 6.6″ curved glass display makes the phone fit comfortably in your palm when clutched with a centered punch hole for its front-facing camera; it also features HDR and 120Hz refresh rates that are capable of covering DCI-P3 color gamut as well as 300 Hz touch sampling rate making this device perfect if gaming is what interests you most!

Huawei P50 Pro specs and camera

The next Huawei’s 2022 flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset without a 5G component (probably for sales approval purposes) and supports 8GB RAM as well as 256GB of storage. These may seem like 2021 specs But this is because they are focusing on camera experience for the P50 Pro, which makes sense given how much people love taking pictures with their smartphones these days!

Those two signature camera rings on the back are housing some really impressive hardware. The big 50MP True-Chroma main camera sensor is aided in light capture by the 40MP monochrome one at the bottom ring.

A 13MP camera does the landscape and big crowd photography duties, while the “200x zoom range” is achieved by going from the 0.5x ultrawide camera to the 64MP 90mm 3.5x periscope zoom shooter in a 13mm-2700mm equivalent span.

Besides the breathtaking camera hardware, Huawei introduces a new True-Chroma Image Engine that “delivers the highest possible color accuracy, creating images that reflect what is seen by the human eye” by leveraging a new 10-channel multi-spectrum ambient light sensor whose input gets additional calibration on 2000+ colors along the P3 spectrum.

With a phone’s lens, it is often hard to get an accurate picture of what exactly we are capturing. The Huawei True-Chroma Image Engine claims that by scanning through colors and light frequencies more quickly than regular cameras can Photoshop Is Everywhere!, this new technology should allow for higher quality images with less blurriness due solely on how fast photos now come out!

The P50 Pro’s Super Colour Filter System provides a new level of detail and sharpness when shooting at night.

The camera also features an improved monochrome mode, which produces cleaner photos due to increased light capture abilities from its two sensors in tandem!

The new Super HDR tech captures 28% more of the dynamic range for better-backlit performance, while light and shadows are optimized to create richer textures.

The P50 Pro’s camera captures 4K video definition all along the record zoom range with a new AIS Pro image stabilization that Huawei says is good for timelapse modes. Videos can then be edited directly in the Gallery, using their built-in PetalClip tool!

Huawei P50 Pro battery and charging

The Huawei P50 Pro’s 4360mAh battery pack can be charged with the fast 66W brick in its box or via a 40w wireless charger. These are much quicker charging speeds than the Huawei P40 Pro+ review and are mighty fast no matter how you slice it.
