Xiaomi 12 to Launch With a Unique AG Camera Panel
The upcoming Xiaomi 12, which is expected to make its first public appearance soon, will allegedly house a unique camera bump finish. Instead of relying on Zeiss-branded lens coating like in the past leaks from China or elsewhere, this latest leak refers specifically and exclusively to an entire camera island made up only of lenses instead!

It looks like the new Xiaomi 12 series will be quite different from previous devices. The camera bump on this phone may make for an interesting design, but it will also have drawbacks!
In a post on Weibo, the upcoming Xiaomi 12 flagship is said to feature large camera modules. The new AG glass coating is expected to make this phone stand out among its other smartphones. It uses similar technology found in back panels for better alignment with its design aesthetic and user experience goals while also using efficient light capture through reduced reflection rates.
The wait is over! After announcing the Mi 8 and Redmi 6A last week, reports leaked that Xiaomi will be unveiling their much-awaited 12 series this month. The first phone in line with its new design language was spotted on GizChina’s website ahead of schedule, which hints at an upcoming launch event.
The leak also revealed some key specifications such as a 5G capable device equipped with Snapdragon 855 processor for data speeds up to 40GB per second (4 times faster than 4G) alongside 128GB internal storage plus 2TB external microSD card support—allowing users more space where even big games can fit comfortably without worrying about running out due content size restrictions imposed by platform providers like Apple iOS or Google AndroidOS.
